Why use TotoPDF Add Signature?

Three ways to sign

Draw with a mouse or finger, type in a script font, or upload a scanned signature.

Place it anywhere

Put signatures, initials and dates on any page and resize them to fit the line.

Clean background

Uploaded signatures can have their white background removed automatically.

Private signing

Your signature and document never leave your device.

Signing tips

For the most natural result, draw your signature slowly with a mouse or, better, a finger or stylus on a touch screen. Place it slightly above the signature line, just like ink on paper.

  • Need to fill fields before signing? Use PDF Forms first.
  • After signing, Flatten PDF locks form fields and annotations.
  • Sending a signed contract? Protect PDF adds a password.

Your signature, your device

The signature you draw, type or upload is created in your browser and placed on the page locally. It is never stored on our servers, so the next time you sign you simply draw it again. For contracts that need witnesses or several signers, each person can open the signed file and add their own signature in turn before the final version is flattened and shared.
