High-resolution analysis

No upload
Recognition runs in your browser, so confidential scans stay private.
Improving OCR results
Accuracy depends mostly on the input. Scan at 300 DPI, keep pages straight and avoid shadows when photographing documents. If a page is sideways, fix it with Rotate PDF before running OCR.
- Pick the right language – mixed-language documents can use two languages at once.
- For photos and screenshots, Image OCR is quicker.
- Want a PDF you can search with Ctrl+F? Use Searchable PDF.
From scan to editable document
Choose DOCX output when you want to edit the recognised text in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, and TXT when you only need to copy it elsewhere. Language data is downloaded once and cached by your browser, so later OCR runs start faster. Processing a selected page range instead of the whole document saves time on long scans.
