1. Overview
TotoPDF respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Because files are processed temporarily and deleted automatically – and most tools never upload files at all – TotoPDF does not host or publish user documents. However, if you believe content on our website (for example a blog post or image) infringes your copyright, please notify us.
2. Filing a copyright notice
Send a written notice to info@totopdf.com with the subject "DMCA Notice" that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on TotoPDF where the material appears.
- Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
3. Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court.
4. Repeat infringers
We will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers where appropriate.
5. Misuse of tools
Tools such as Unlock PDF or Remove PDF Password are intended for documents you own or are authorised to modify. Using them to circumvent protection on works you have no right to access is prohibited by our Terms.
